In 2010, we first visited the Pyrenees. By chance we found a small auberge just below the Col du Soulor. And that same evening the owner took us up the mountain for dinner. Sitting among roaming sheep and wild horses, eating confit de canard under the open sky – that moment changed our lives. From then on, we were hooked on the Pyrenees.

At first, we returned every summer to cycle, see the Tour de France and hike through these mountains. But over time, holiday visits were no longer enough. So for the past four years, we’ve been here, living, working and exploring, full-time from May to October. And we noticed that the famous cols, many cyclist go to, are not always the nicest ones, so we thought there was an opportunity for a bussiness.

We started out offering a truck hotel; a fully tailored experience for cyclists who wanted to discover the Pyrenees with everything taken care of. That enabled us to explore the region further with our yellow container tiny home on wheels.

And now we’ve cycled and discovered almost every valley, peak, and village – since we are always curious for the next hidden road or breathtaking view. But, again, we noticed something; many people love to use our knowledge, but want to create their own adventure without our truck. So we decided to make our guide services a separate business.

And our nomadic lifestyle turned out to be a big advantage. Because we move through every part of the Pyrenees, we can offer honest, experience-based advice – where to go, when to go, and what to skip. We know the Pyrenees Cycling highlights and the truly hidden beauty.
